Membership Application Process

As a member of The International Association of CPR Instructors (IACPRI), you gain access to valuable resources, networking opportunities, and support to enhance your professional practice and contribute to the mission of promoting cardiac health and safety in your community.

 

  1. Research: Review IACPRI's Pillars and Values to ensure we align with your goals, values, and professional interests. Review our  mission, membership benefits, eligibility criteria, and any associated fees or dues.

  2. Review Membership Requirements: Carefully review the membership requirements to ensure that you meet all the necessary criteria. These requirements include CPR instructor certification from a recognized organizations (at this time we are only accepting Instructors aligned with the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross), professional experience, and adherence to ethical standards (a letter from a member of IACPRI).

  3. Application Process: Once you've determined that you meet the membership requirements, complete the membership application form. There is NO fee associated with the application to apply for membership. Be sure to provide accurate and up-to-date information about your qualifications, experience, and contact details. 

  4. Submit Documentation: Along with your membership application, please submit supporting documentation to verify your eligibility, such as a copy of your CPR instructor certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

  5. Pay Membership Fees: Basic Membership is FREE. Professional Membership is free until January 1, 2024. 

  6. Review and Approval: After you've submitted your membership application and supporting documentation, the association will review your materials to ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria. This process may take some time, so please be patient.

  7. Membership Confirmation: Once your membership application has been reviewed and approved, you'll receive confirmation of your membership status from the association. You will receive a welcome letter, membership certificate, and access to member benefits and resources.

  8. Engage and Participate: As a newly admitted member, take advantage of the opportunities provided to engage with fellow CPR instructors, access professional development resources, participate in events and activities, and contribute to the advancement of CPR education and training.

Please note, that membership with IACPRI is by invitation only. After you apply for membership, and your application is reviewed, if you are selected, you will receive an invitation for Membership that must be completed and returned within 10 days of receiving your membership invitation. If you are not selected for membership, your application will be kept on file for 60 days for consideration, if an appeal is processed. After such time, your application will be discarded.
